  Apple Blossoms Owner/International Floral Designer, Scott Darhower has had a fascination with flowers and plants as far back as he can remember.  Born and raised in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, he held his first flower position at the age of 15.  

  After graduation from high school, he attended and graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Interior Design.  As the years passed, he continued to practice his skills as a floral designer and pursue his real passion...floral design.  This passion has landed him in positions as lead designer and assistant general manager of seven floral shops...leading him to open his own business.  Over his more than 30 years in the floral industry his designs have graced the doors of both celebrities and dignitaries across the country.  In 1997 he was honored to be chosen as a Judge for The Pennsylvania Horticultural Societies Philadelphia Flower Show.  His skills as a designer have taken him as far away as the United Kingdom.

  Scott spent five years as Assistant General Manager for Stephenson's Flowers, one of FTD's top 100 florists in Shiremanstown Pennsylvania before relocating to Tampa Florida. 

  In the fall of 2000 Scott moved to the Tampa Bay area where he obtained a position with Botanica International Florist owned by Ian Prosser, AIFD in Tampa's trendy South Tampa.  For four years he was not only a designer, but an understudy in one of the finest flower shops in Tampa Bay. 

  In 2004 Scott left Botanica International Design Studio to pursue is own path in the Wedding and Event Design field where he has been a  freelance designer some of the areas finest Wedding and Event Florists such as  Dana Daneen Floral Designs of Clearwater, The Brides Bouquet of Palm Harbor, Showorks Event Specialists of Oldsmar,  A La Carte Event Pavilion an Outback Company, and Silk Gardens both located in Tampa.
